kipi-plugins software package provides image manipulation/handling plugins for KIPI aware programs, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install kipi-plugins
kipi-plugins is installed in your system.
Make ensure the kipi-plugins package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep kipi-plugins *
You will get with kipi-plugins package name, version, architecture and description in a table
